In a world full of shiny new marketing trends, email marketing often gets written off as outdated.

But is it? The truth is, email marketing is still one of the most reliable ways to engage with your audience—especially in B2B. It's personal, measurable, and, when done right, highly effective.

We’ve put together some insights into why email isn’t dead, and why it’s actually evolving. If you think email has lost its edge, you might want to give this a read.

Hey everyone! Instead of sharing some deep wisdom or heavy insights, here's a fun reminder to take time off and enjoy the weekend. We all need to recharge, reset, and refresh!

Last week for half term, I ventured into the New Forest, where I hiked, cycled, and even hugged a few trees (yes, it’s a thing and it really relaxes!). 🌳🍃🚴‍♀️

Whilst we’re managing workload is also important to think about our wellbeing. Because it’s easy to let stress build up which eventually leads to burnout.

Therefore this weekend take a break, have some fun, and come back ready to tackle the week ahead. Happy weekend!

The Power of Letting Go: Boosting Your Sales Pipeline

We've all faced the struggle of holding onto something that's no longer working—be it a stagnant relationship, an unfulfilling job, or in the professional realm, a stale sales pipeline. In my latest blog, I dive into the concept of letting go and how it applies to sales and marketing. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll discover:

🔹 Why Holding Onto Stagnant Leads is Harmful: Just as staying in a dead-end relationship can drain your energy, so can clinging to leads that haven’t moved in months.

🔹 The Role of Modern Marketing Technology: Learn how tools like HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, and Zoho CRM can enrich lead data, helping you make informed decisions about where to focus your efforts.

🔹 Strategic Benefits of Letting Go: Understand how releasing unproductive leads can free up resources, boost morale, and ultimately lead to better results by focusing on high-potential opportunities.

🔹 Practical Steps to Refresh Your Pipeline: From auditing your pipeline to celebrating new wins, get actionable tips on how to embrace a forward-thinking approach in your sales strategy.

🔹 Real-Life Examples: Discover how companies have successfully implemented these strategies and witnessed significant improvements in their sales performance.

Embracing the power of letting go isn't about giving up—it's about making strategic decisions to drive success.

Have you ever considered the difference between growth marketing and traditional marketing?

Growth marketing is all about data-driven strategies, rapid experimentation, and a customer-centric focus. It's about integrating cross-channel tactics to achieve sustainable growth. On the other hand, traditional marketing targets a broad audience with long-term campaigns, focusing heavily on brand awareness and established strategies.

“That day, for no particular reason I decided to go for a little run…”

Recently I took up running after years of making up excuses. It started off with panting on the road after few hundred meters to running 5k in no time. It’s been years since I managed to get my health in order to get to this point and I am so glad that I’m finally back out there with my running shoes.

My coach is a 100k marathon runner, I don’t think I’ll be running that far but it’s just amazing feeling of achievement every time you run that extra mile. And it’s great to be motivated to do and accomplish more.

Inspiration can find you anywhere, and maybe sometimes it’s out there when you’re on the run.

So where do you find your inspiration and motivation?

“It is literally impossible to be a woman.

You are so beautiful, and so smart, and it kills me that you don’t think you’re good enough.

Like, we have to always be extraordinary, but somehow we’re always doing it wrong.

You have to be thin, but not too thin. And you can never say you want to be thin. You have to say you want to be healthy, but also you have to be thin.

You have to have money, but you can’t ask for money because that’s crass. You have to be a boss, but you can’t be mean. You have to lead, but you can’t squash other people’s ideas.

You’re supposed to love being a mother, but don’t talk about your kids all the damn time. You have to be a career woman, but also always be looking out for other people.

You have to answer for men’s bad behavior, which is insane, but if you point that out, you’re accused of complaining.

You’re supposed to stay pretty for men, but not so pretty that you tempt them too much or that you threaten other women because you’re supposed to be a part of the sisterhood. But always stand out and always be grateful. But never forget that the system is rigged. So find a way to acknowledge that but also always be grateful.

You have to never get old, never be rude, never show off, never be selfish, never fall down, never fail, never show fear, never get out of line. It’s too hard! It’s too contradictory and nobody gives you a medal or says thank you! And it turns out in fact that not only are you doing everything wrong, but also everything is your fault.

I’m just so tired of watching myself and every single other woman tie herself into knots so that people will like us. And if all of that is also true for a doll just representing women, then I don’t even know.” America Ferrera's Iconic Barbie Speech | Barbie

To all the women out there, remember you are extra ordinary and you are doing an amazing job. We all deserve more than a day!

If someone asks you, what is the key to your success. What would you say?

I'd say perseverance! Long-term success requires sustained effort.

The actual definition of perseverance is not giving up. It is persistence and tenacity, the effort required to do something and keep doing it till the end, even if it's hard.

What is your key strength?

Never let fear limit your potential!

I am terrified of heights, but for the past few years I’ve been pushing myself out of my comfort zone and learning how to ski.🎿

Yes I’ve been to occasional ski trips with friends where you have more fun at apres ski than the slopes. But this time I am taking time to learn and conquer the slopes. It’s taking some time but once you find your balance it is such a wonderful and rewarding feeling.

This is not the first time I am pushing myself, it is my nature. I never limit myself and just do things that feel comfortable and familiar. In life and work you gotta do things sometimes to evolve and grow, and the only way you can do this is by constantly trying your best.

So go ahead and learn that sport you always wanted, travel and live in another country and learn another language and culture, go ahead and apply for the job you always wanted and never limit yourself. You never know what you’re capable of doing unless you try 😊
