📚 Open-bound with a loose jacket

We recently produced two beautifully crafted printed pieces, combining specialist binding with clean, precise finishing.

The project included:
• 400 copies of an open-bound publication with a loose jacket — creating a distinctive, tactile reading experience.
• 1,000 copies of a 16pp A5 booklet, twin-wire bound and precision trimmed for a clean, professional finish.

From concept to completion, it’s always the materials, structure, and finishing details that bring print to life.

🎨✨ One Design. Endless Possibilities.

Utilising the creative power of HP Mosaic, we brought over 1,000 completely unique bookmark designs to life — each one a variation generated from a single base pattern.

Through algorithm-driven transformations — scaling, rotation, colour shifts and transposition — every piece becomes truly one-of-a-kind.

Designed by Owsin, the collection features double-sided bookmarks across two base colourways — black and pale — each showcasing a striking interplay of pattern and variation.
To do the designs justice, they were printed on our HP Indigo 15000 digital press, where the vibrant colours quite literally pop off the page.

Produced on Fedrigoni Symbol Freelife Satin 350gsm, the result is a bold, tactile set of prints that celebrates both technology and creativity.

Where design meets data, and no two pieces are ever the same.

💎 Precision Packaging for a Precision Product

For one of our customers, we created a bespoke presentation box designed to house a lab-grown diamond before it is set into its final pendant mount.

Crafted as a lift-off lid shoulder box, the design centres around a custom diamond-shaped fitment, engineered to perfectly frame and elevate the product.

A 2mm clear acrylic insert, precision-cut to the diamond form, is set within the recess — securing the piece while allowing it to appear as if it’s floating in place.

A considered balance of structure, material, and detail — packaging designed to reflect the precision and value of what it holds.

For Constance Prince Maurice, one of Mauritius’ most prestigious five-star resorts, every detail had to reflect the elegance of the destination itself. We produced a refined printed suite centred around a Candlelit Cream 290gsm folder, featuring debossed covers and a foiled flap — subtle, tactile, and unmistakably premium.

Featured Inside:
• An A4 singer-sewn brochure with foiled cover
• An A5 8pp rollfold with foiled outer flap
• An A6 postcard foild one side with bespoke C6 envelopes

Layered textures, precise finishing, and understated foil detailing bring warmth and sophistication to every touchpoint — mirroring the calm luxury of Mauritius’ east coast.

In Aardman’s 50th anniversary year, the V&A invited guests to peek behind the scenes of some of the world’s most loved stop-motion characters — from Wallace & Gromit to Shaun the Sheep and Morph.

We had the pleasure of printing the official invite for this prestigious London event — a piece designed to reflect the creativity and craft of the exhibition itself.

Printed CMYK over white ink, foiled to one side, and triplexed using GF Smith Colorplan Turquoise and Mandarin, the invitation combined bold colour with tactile depth and precision finishing.

A celebration of character, colour, and craftsmanship — in print form.

📕 “Fight On!” — Craft, Structure, and Detail (Post 2/2)

The project is realised as a 528-page archival book, presented across two volumes and a bespoke slip sleeve.

• Main Book: 416 pages, section sewn and PUR bound
• Comment Book: 106 pages, PUR bound, black & white throughout
• Format: 8” × 10”
• Finishing: White foil to cover, spine, and back of both books

The set is housed in a gloss black slip sleeve, finished with a white-foiled zebra outline and “FIGHT ON!” running along the spine.

Every material choice and finishing detail was carefully considered — supporting a story that demanded both sensitivity and permanence.

A powerful example of how thoughtful print can elevate deeply human narratives.

“Fight On!” — A Story Preserved in Print (Post 1/2)

Fight On! is a deeply personal archival project by our intern Moses Huish, documenting fourteen years of family life, resilience, and care.

The book brings together Facebook posts written by Moses’ mum, Erin Huish, chronicling the medical journeys and everyday moments of his twin brothers, JJ and Carson, who were born with the rare immune disorder X-SCIDS.

What began as a digital record was painstakingly transformed into a documentary-style publication — every post revisited, every image saved, every comment transcribed and carefully re-designed to preserve the emotional chronology of the story.

This is print used not just to record history, but to hold memory, voice, and lived experience.
