IMI supply magazine covermounts, partworks premiums and incentives to a broad array of businesses. Our process is to supply creative ideas of the kind of premium that can be deployed, and provide quotes against client’s specific premium needs, then source and cost them up using our wide supply base and on receipt of a purchase order manage the supply chain functions required to ensure the goods arrive in a qualitative and timely manner.
Overview of Job Function:
The position’s prime responsibility is to help manage key accounts to whom we provide premiums and maintain business levels within these accounts, to pre-agreed targets on turnover and gross profit and margins. To provide creative ideas and suggestions to specific briefs, and to provide all pricing as required.
To attend regular meetings with the clients.
To manage front-end client relationships once an order has been agreed.
The position reports into the CEO.
Key Accountabilities and measures:
To maintain, develop business and manage existing accounts and ensure all client’s demands are met.
To maintain all necessary paperwork to conduct business within IMI and externally.
To be prepared to travel to attend meetings and presentations.
To assist in preparing innovative premium product ideas to received briefs, make recommendations and prepare and make submissions to clients. To work with our designers to develop presentations and ideas as and when required.
To provide quotations and samples to clients and prospective clients, on receipt of costings from our buying department and turn quotes into purchase orders
To liaise with our suppliers in the Asia and locally to procure product prices and samples and in the case of running promotions maintain delivery schedules.
Administrative Duties
To prepare costings and quotations for clients
To prepare ideas and suggestions for clients working with design and the team
To prepare, on receipt of orders, promotional folders to include a profit and loss sheet, specification sheet and order confirmation, and all relevant paperwork.
To prepare all correspondence including quotations, ideas lists, presentations and sample approval letters, order confirmations.
To file all client paperwork in designated areas.
To operate the company’s existing administrative systems and keep in order the system.
To maintain major negotiation statements, revenue achievement information, and any administrative work as directed.
To maintain up to date meeting reports, from all client visits.
To attend all internal and external client meetings.
Key Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in the premium sourcing and promotional gift industry and ideally some knowledge of supplying magazine covermounts and partworks.
Degree or similar qualification educated
Passion for the industry and promotional industry
Highly organised with attention to detail when performing tasks, ability to anticipate and manage problems, with an ability to prioritise and escalate where necessary
Systems experience or a clear demonstration of the ability to learn to use systems quickly
Good communication skills; communicating clearly using phone, email, etc.

Holidays: 20 days -25 days, plus statutory holidays, depending on length of service
