The children’s entertainment industry, which is valued at over half a billion pounds, is really in need of help right now!
have launched the campaign and need your support to help save the industry and most importantly, protect children’s mental health and wellbeing.
Children are allowed to meet safely in class bubbles at nurseries & schools, yet these exact same bubbles are banned from meeting to celebrate birthday parties or life events.
Children and parents can also meet at playgroups (with others not in their bubbles!). So if entertainers follow all the guidance, wear PPE, maintain social distancing measures and sanitise regularly, they should be allowed to provide entertainment for class bubbles, allowing them to celebrate safely together at a party.
Thousands of entertainers, event organisers and other birthday party suppliers have been forgotten about, and their businesses will never recover.
Whether you’re a parent or carer who wants to give a child the birthday party of their dreams, or a fellow industry member, here’s what you can do to help...
