Choose Marketing Where You Get What You Pay For 📢💸

So you've paid to get your ad out on social media and you're excited to see that your ad has been seen by 20,000 people! But how many of those 20,000 are actually people?

Current estimates are that 70% of social media users are bots and social media companies have no problem showing your ads to bots and charging you for the privilege.

If someone scrolls past your ad without pausing, that counts as a view.

Studies show only 17% of those "views" that you're paying for is a real view seen by an actual flesh and blood human being.

Unlike social media, 95% of door drops are engaged with.

So stop wasting your money and choose marketing that actually gets seen.

📢 Choose Marketing That Works 📈

It seems like every year there's some flashy new thing in marketing. Some new technology that's going to change the way businesses sell themselves forever.

But how many of these actually work?

You're a small business that doesn't have the budget to waste on gimmicks, you need marketing that just works.

Marketing that has stood the test of time and that data shows still drives results.

That's why businesses continue to choose leaflet distribution, for the simple fact that it works.

It may not be flashy, it may not be high tech, it may not have blockchain integration, but when leaflets land on the doormat your customers see them!

In a world where discussions about marketing are dominated by social media and email advertising, it can be easy to assume that leaflet distribution has lost some of its relevance. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

In fact, what we are seeing is a reaction against digital advertising. Consumers are feeling overwhelmed and frustrated by the sheer volume of digital noise they are being inundated with, and are learning to ignore online advertising.

Want to find out more? Our blog is a short read and you can find it here:

🥳 Celebrate! It's ! 🕺

The fruits of advertising may not always look how you expect them to.

You've dropped leaflets and you've not gotten the calls or scans of your QR Code you were expecting.

And, yet, your sales have gone up....

That's because 41% of customers who have been driven to purchase by a leaflet will just come directly into your business.

That customer is in your shop because they received your leaflet, even though they almost certainly won't come out and tell you that!

The Havering Chamber of Commerce Women's event I mentioned earlier in the week was big success! I have loved being involved in organising with fellow Exec Committee members and the Chamber Chair.

The team at just couldn't do enough for us and were generous in sharing their unique space, The Other Stage with us. I would never have believed that I would be standing on a stage, speaking to a full house for the second time in as many weeks! My involvement in the Chamber has given me so many opportunities!

What a fantastic evening at the Havering Small Business Awards! ✨

I was delighted to attend in my role as an Executive Committee Member of Havering Chamber of Commerce and incredibly proud to present the award for Best Newcomer.

Held at the wonderful Lumiere , it was a privilege to stand in front of a full room and announce the winner — VARLEYS Upminster! 🏆

Alex was clearly blown away by the win, and it was lovely to see just how much the recognition meant to him and his business.

The Chamber Chair, Janet, and I had a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of so many brilliant local businesses. It was a real pleasure to be part of such a special event.

Congratulations to Alex and the whole team at Varleys, I’ll be in for coffee!

Did you know that we advertise our services using leaflets? Afterall, we know it's a great way to get the message across to all sorts of people.

These are our leaflets, that go out on almost every maps we deliver. This side advertises our services and the other side advertises for PostPeople, as we all know that a double-sided leaflet makes sense.

When chatting to prospective customers, we always mention that we have just as much interest in the leaflets being delivered correctly as they do, as our leaflets are also on the round.
