-BRANDING-

◼In 2017, when Adrian Sedlin launched a line of cannabis flowers called Canndescent, he thought a lot about how most consumers had previously purchased cannabis. It likely came in clear plastic baggies, with its origins and potency unknown -- hardly what someone would pay a premium for.
Adrian Sedlin decided to create luxury packing.

◼Color
Canndescent’s products arrive in a burnt-orange box, a nod to the French luxury brand Hermès as well as the “soft, warm glow” of a light bulb filament.

◼Logo
Like many luxury brands’ logos, from Louis Vuitton’s to Fendi’s, Canndescent’s was built off the first letter (or letters) in its name. The Canndescent logo arranges the letter C into what Sedlin calls a “bloom-like” pattern: “It felt like it was clean and bold, and represented the effort and intricacy that goes into producing our flower.”

Soo… what do you think about this unexpected branding?

▪️Mellow dogs and geckos gently floating in custom-fitted harnesses (“I tried one cat and that was a disaster”), against the warm, pastel palette of their balloons and backgrounds make this charming ‘Floating’ series hard to resist.

▪️As the color of 2019 was already determined (kind reminder 😉 It is a warm, tranquil shade between orange and pink that draws on trends London and New York Fashion Weeks)
▪️Two Melbourne-based creatives have proposed a color for 2020 to be Bleached Coral .

So just small attention to the problem will be never too much. ✔️ ——

COLOUR TRENDS FORECST FOR 2019
Part 2 :-)

so lets go:
---------------------
Another popular colour for next year – and one being tipped by Rebecca Swift over at Getty Images - is the Gen Z yellow

"There is a color that is permeating not only fashion and design trends but is popping up in our most popular business images.

Variously called Gen Z yellow, it is a bright yellow that was first brought to us in all its resplendent glory by Beyoncé in her Lemonade visual album.

It is a color that pops in a muted palette and works really well to lift the mood amongst the darker tones that are currently trending in lifestyle imagery."

COLOUR TRENDS FORECST FOR 2019

---------
It's that time of year again as stock image companies begin to share their forecasts for visual trends in the oncoming year.
So we look at the predictions from Adobe, iStock, Shutterstock and more on the visual trends that may be coming your way in 2019.

---------------------

Shutterstock's colour trend forecast for 2019 is more digital tech/neon urban focused in its highlighting of UFO Green, Plastic Pink and Proton Purple as the ones to watch next year. The UFO Green swatch is the closest to Mother Earth's tones, evoking 'lush countrysides alongside whirling rows of binary code' according to Shutterstock's, err, flowery and purple prose.

----------------
Trending colours in a global sense are more in-keeping with the natural photography trend, with Brazil and Korea going for a deep foliage green, Japan liking the look of lavender, and the US having a growing penchant for a lime shade straight out of the Florida wetlands.
------------------
Adobe has partnered with Pantone to create an image library (examples below) that reflects the colour and ink company's choice for Pantone Colour of the Year 2019, Living Coral.

New brand identity for a creative institution and workspace that provides private studios to fast-growing technology firms and entrepreneurs.

_______

The brand is all about fusion and the identity is inspired by the crossovers between life and work, art and science, and knowledge and invention that a shared and collaborative environment creates. Pentagram has designed a family of twelve logos, made of two overlapping circles. The Second Home word mark sits on the overlapping section of the logo, representing the space where new ideas happen. The logos feature a range of colours, reflecting the diversity and energetic spirit of creators.

◼ARE WEB-SITES TEMPLATES GOOD SOLUTION OR NOT? ◼
______________

Web design today seems to be driven by technical and ideological constraints rather than creativity and ideas.
Everything looks the same in Internet: generic fonts, no layouts to speak of, interchangeable pages, and an absence of expressive visual language. Even micro-typography is a mess.
_____________
◼Why does it happen?

There are a few reasons.
Technological frameworks like Content Management Systems (CMS) and blogging platforms like WordPress are based on templates. Web pages on these frameworks are not individually crafted but generated on the fly by piecing together various media types like images, headlines, body text, and videos.
So as result we have fast and typical web-site.
____________

Some of creative designers gave their vision, how some of the websites should be changed.
so…look and make Your decision what is better:

Environmental public service Do The Green Thing has released there new Issue in the wake of the IPCC's Special Report on Global Warming .
