Central to CD Capital’s visual identity is the vital role critical minerals play in shaping a sustainable future.

Each mineral was carefully handcrafted through a meticulous process of photography and high-resolution scanning, then digitally reconstructed and enriched with layered textures and considered light and colour treatments.

Set in perpetual motion, the minerals rotate in an endless loop, reflecting their cyclical nature and their role in advancing responsible progress toward a more environmentally and socially balanced world.

Motion as brand language: Introducing a new brand for Nutmeg Films, a concept-driven film and animation studio based in London. 

Moving beyond the static look of their old brand, we sought to convey a dynamic and creative studio that are immersed in story-telling. Technology has transformed the way we consume content and we wanted to reference this as a central thought in the new brand – celebrating the links between content creation, delivery and consumption, both technically as well as emotionally. 

Our solution was based around the movement of a playhead, alluding to the concept of being moved in an emotional sense. The logo is based around the observation that, with a particular rendering of the letter N, it is possible for the icon to be dynamically transformed by the playhead device whist maintaining is legibility and overall sense of form. In this way we were able to build the concept of movement in to the very heart of the brand.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team for a 3 month paid internship, starting in November. This is an opportunity to experience the industry in a progressive studio in central London. You’ll be involved in live studio briefs with the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and work across multiple different disciplines from identity, brand strategy, web design and motion.

A good working knowledge of the Adobe suite and a degree or equivalent would be expected.

Limited edition report design for in collaboration with focused on what it takes to create better places, with thriving communities and sustainable ethics. Our design approach pivoted around a structure that expressed several layers of information; posing rhetorical questions as well as evidence based content and quotes from leading industry figures.

Short pages and multi-coloured sectioning adds pace and interest, complimented by an honest photographic style, knitted together by a strict grid and typographical discipline.

The role will be to lead on creative projects – from ideation through to activation – using creativity, strategy, rationale and craft to execute meaningful solutions for both B2B and B2C clients, both nationally and internationally.

As a lead creative you will be confident and articulate, comfortable with client liaison, mentoring junior designers, and working directly with other senior and director level colleagues.
