Lovers (never learn) is the deluxe edition that closes the Lovers era.
somehow managed to turn the EP’s concept into an image without me telling her anything. Crazy.
Marianna is one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met. She has this incredible page:
The Lovers flower, consumed by fire, will become the ashes that shape the next EP.
The next chapter will be Enemies. The phrase “lovers to enemies” is the opposite of the well-known “enemies to lovers” trope: the moment when love slowly falls apart until it becomes its own opposite.
It’ll be a much darker record, with a completely different sound.
