Word to the wise Printers! If you're going to send me a 'sample' of your work send me a sample of your work. Plain white envelope enclosing 2 samples; one of your own brand, and one of another's. On the same stock, the same finish. Yawn. I was a potential customer. Was.

Researching old bi-planes (as you do) I came across this.

Research website for 100 historically significant typeface designs from Gutenberg to 2000, lists typefaces by name, chronology, category, geography, usage and ubiquity as part of a typographic history research project.
