My Bio

Tuina practitioner Errol Lynch is one of the UK’s leading therapists and masters of Chinese medicine. He is the founder of Tuina Student to Master training course, author of Tuina the Art and founder of Touch Tuina clinics.
Errol Lynch spent much of the last twenty years in China, honing his craft and learning under the tutelage from some of Chinese medicine’s leading doctors, Professor Fan Bing Hua and Professor Zhang Qiang. Lynch, has over 40,000 hours working on patients and over 100,000 hours in the study of Tuina. Since 1999, he has been working with all the major hospitals in Zhe Jiang province in Hangzhou China 🇨🇳:

2. Zhe Jiang University hospital
3. Zhe Jiang Provincial hospital
He also started lecturing in 2014 and 2016 for Zhe Jiang Provincial Hospital in Ji Lin City and Hang Zhou. Since 2001 he has been taking students to China for Tuina, Acupuncture and Herbal study, working as both an assistant tutor and tour guide for the city.
Since 2018, Lynch started as Teacher of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) for Acupuncture Society in London.
He is the UK’s leading pioneer and advocate of the many physical, mental and emotional benefits of the Tuina practice.
Lynch is an accredited acupuncturist from China and the UK in auricular, abdominal, scalp, orthopaedic, Balance method and TCM Acupuncture, Reflexology -and is a certified Chinese herbalist in both China and the UK since 1997.
The path into Chinese medicine and specialization in Tuina was an organic development for Lynch. He started his career as a martial artist in London. Tuina was a natural progression for him. Lynch is committed to lifelong learning and has studied shiatsu, reflexology, sports therapy, acupuncture and Chinese herbs extensively. Lynch has garnered veneration in China for his accomplishment and technique in Tuina.
Many athletes are embracing the power of Tuina for sports medicine based on the ability to manipulate energy and almost instantaneous results. Lynch is a strong proponent of Tuina’s is effectiveness for increasing flexibility, preventing injuries, relieving pain and facilitating speedy recoveries. Tuina uses a combination of massage, acupressure and body manipulation to remove blockages which lead to improved energy balance and greater health and vitality. Today, the field of Tuina treatment includes traumatology, rehabilitation and orthopaedics.
In 2006 Lynch produced a DVD “tuina student to Master” due to the lack of Tuina representations outside of China, this DVD has 3 section; medical massage, general massage and sports massage,
Lynch’s time is split between his three Touch Tuina clinic practices, one in London and two in York where he combines teaching Tuina and treating private clients with Mariana Arando and his team of practitioners. He has been teaching Tuina in England since 2001 with an average of 14 students a year. Courses include 1-year study with 6 months classroom tuition and 1-year clinical practice.
His roster of past and present clients includes premier footballers Martell Taylor-Crossdale, Robin Van Persie Paul Canerville, David Ginola and Lee Williamson, Cyrus Christi. Lynch also works with Football Academies and Premiership youngsters aged 14-20 from Chelsea, Arsenal, Fulham, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
Lynch also treats Olympian athletes Perry Shakes Drayton, Marilyn Okoro and Annie Taggoe; ranked British tennis players Zack Philips and Eden Silva; the Derby county FC ladies. He also works with Boxers Samual Antwi (male) who holds the Southern area England title and managed by Alfie Warren and Ramla Ali (female). UFC Claudio Silva (Brazilian JJ) has also been a patient for many years from the start of his UFC career to date.

Lynch is passionate about spreading the knowledge of Tuina. He hosts workshops internationally and many students travel across the globe to seek his tuition. Lynch’s Tuina students hail from Germany, USA, France, Spain, Ireland, Scotland Thailand and England. To date, Lynch has trained over 500 students. He has been invited to speak at worldwide conferences in China and the University of Technology in Jamaica where he has been a keynote speaker at Newtec University in 2014 and 2016.
In 2018 he began to work with the Jamaican Olympic team including Jamaican sprinters Yohan Blake and currently Everton Clarke. Also, in conjunction with one of Jamaican National Coaches Jerome Waite, he also works with the local football team Arnett Gardens and the National team The Reggae Boys.
As a result of his presence in Jamaica he has sponsored two tennis tournaments for the last 2 years; one in Negril (Swept Away) and one in Kingston (Liguanea Sports Club).
In 2018 he was invited as a practitioner to work with all the Jamaican athletes, in their holding camp in Birmingham England organised by the JAAA.
Lynch is also a visiting practitioner and trainer at Kamalaya Health Spa in Koh Samui, Thailand, where he teaches reflexology and performs tuina.
Lynch also works closely with Lee valley sports centre in the UK prepping all athletes and senior athletes.
