I visited the National Portrait Gallery this week to see the Marilyn exhibition and wow…

This incredible collection captures a life of glamour and heartache, featuring work from some of the biggest image-makers of the era including Andy Warhol, Eve Arnold and Cecil Beaton

It’s not just iconic photography. You can also explore personal items from some of her most memorable shoots, including scripts, makeup, shoes and dresses PLUS her fave 4-inch white Ferragamo stilettos in slide 2.

I’ve pulled together a few highlights for those who can’t make it, but if can- this is a proper must-see at a true cultural landmark. Seeing people from all over the world admire Marilyn so many years after her passing, was genuinely special.

Slide 1: This legendary portrait (1946) captured by Bruno Bernard (who is often credited with discovering Marilyn Monroe) during her early pin-up modelling days when she was still known as Norma Jeane Baker.

The many hats (and click pens) of a social media manager...
