We’re excited to share the launch of the Data for Due Diligence Project – a major step forward in making sustainability data more meaningful, accessible, and aligned across the apparel, textile, leather, and footwear industries.
We were able to tell the story of how collaborators Cascale, Apparel Impact Institute (Aii), and ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, have created:
✅ The Data Matrix – a kind of “credit score” for suppliers’ environmental performance, offering a unified view of chemicals, energy, water, and wastewater data.
✅ The Factory Improvement Journey – a shared roadmap to help factories progress through aligned, real-world improvement programs.
This project took a lot of groundwork – aligning data across Higg FEM 4.0, ZDHC tools, and Aii programs, running gap analyses, and piloting with over 100 factories in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and beyond. It’s a real example of what’s possible when we collaborate, simplify, and align around a shared goal.
We’re proud of what’s been built, and even more excited for what’s next.
