Phew! 9 travel company presentations + a trade dinner — all in just 2 days.

That’s the power of our Sales Accelerators, which hands down beat Zoom calls every day!

It’s been a super busy but incredibly productive week as we wrapped up our South Region meetings — connecting with valued partners and driving real momentum in the golf and leisure travel space.

A huge thank you to our partners at Troon International, including Salgados Golf Club (Portugal) and AL HOUARA GOLF CLUB Houara Golf Club (Morocco), for their continued collaboration — and to Jon joining us on this whirlwind tour.

Also, a huge thank you to all the travel companies we presented to... We appreciate you letting us come and see you in the peak selling month.

The UK golf and leisure travel sector is on an exciting upswing heading into 2026, with golf tourism projected to grow by around 6% annually. As Europe’s primary golfing market, it was fantastic to reconnect with our trade partners and showcase both established and new products.

TRAINING SESSION PART 2

2025​ has seen the golf tourism industry evolve at a rate faster than at any other time in the past 10 years. Everyones talking about technology, AI, direct bookings and so on, but what does this mean for the Destination. How does the Tourist Board leverage these elements to maximize their marketing spend?

We know online ​bookings ​still dominate the Market​ with a rough share of 70% of all bookings. These golfers utilise golf-specific websites like​ some well known golf travel companies, direct with the resorts and OTAs, ​allowing them to compare prices, ​create their packages and secure instant confirmations without the need for intermediaries​​, but are there other options, what are they and how do we leverage them to the benefit of the destination?
