From home cooking, to the bond we share with friends. The connections that bring us deep happiness or the conversations and jokes in our mother dialect. Black Joy is all these things and so much more.

This Black History Month, Bloom in Colour and dawn have come together to celebrate the meaning of Black Joy. Our month long campaign centres away from the too familiar struggles of a community narrative to one of empowerment and JOY.
BLACK JOY.

For 31 days, we will create space for the great and good to share in their own words what they love about their identity.
We want to be bold, we want to be brilliant and we want you to smile and share in our celebration.
