World Refugee Day recognises the plight and strength of those who have been forced to flee their home country due to conflict or persecution. That’s why we reached out to Nemi Teas founder, Pranav Chopra, who has built a sustainable and inclusive tea company that solely employs refugees, giving them the skills, confidence, and experience to enter the UK workforce.

We stand , and are so impressed by all the work that Pranav and the NEMI Teas team are doing to upskill displaced people, no questions asked.

Read Marmalade Media ’s Leading with Purpose article with Pranav to find out more about the refugees that inspired his business, how sustainability sits at the core of his ethos, and his advice to anyone trying to run a social business:

How many of us have felt the pressure to have an alcoholic drink in our hand in a social setting – even when we’d rather take a round off the booze or not drink at all? In private, most of us do actually drink moderately but all over the world, negative perceptions of moderation prevail.

Together with Diageo, we wanted to help change that.

The Magic of Moderate Drinking is Diageo’s new campaign celebrating moderation. Where traditional responsible drinking campaigns have highlighted the negatives around excessive drinking, we wanted to show that when we choose to drink moderately, we get the most out of an occasion.

Today, this campaign goes live globally and Marmalade Media could not be more excited to see how it’s received.

Cheers to our wonderful clients, this was truly a ✨magical✨ collaboration.

Wishing everyone a happy festive season.

Drink better. Savour every moment. That’s the magic of moderate drinking.

1 in 7 people in the world have a disability, and it’s the only minority group that anyone can join.

Yet people with disabilities are one of the most excluded groups in the world today. Much of our society – our cultural norms, our ideas of work and productivity, the design of our communal spaces – is geared toward people without disabilities.

In honour of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Saturday, take a moment today to think about how you can play a greater part in disability inclusion.

Does your favourite podcast have transcripts available to download? Are there quiet focus spaces in your office? Have you spoken to your kids about disability etiquette?

If the answer to any of those questions was no, then you might want to add something to today’s to-do list. Small actions can make a big difference in the journey toward inclusion for everyone.

“What started my interest in showcasing diverse stories was when I, for the first time in my life, had not been represented”

Representation in children’s books for single parents, children with disabilities, adoptive families, ethnic minorities, LGBTQA+ couples and more is the goal for Little Box of Books, through their illustrations and book bundles.

Little Box of Books is on a mission to create an inclusive library of children’s books where all families are represented incidentally to the storylines as well as promoting a diverse array of authors.

We had the pleasure of talking to Lynsey Pollard, the Founder and Director, to get an insight in how she came to start her business, her vision and plans for the future:
