I know, I know! I was very resistant too but I have to say my experience so far tells me it's going to make life SO much easier! If you have a decent budget, say £20+ a day, META will take away all the manual tweaking and optimise your ads to send the best content to the right audience.

It sounds too easy, right? And as someone who's used to being very hands on with my campaigns, i was deeply suspicious but (so far!), I’ve noticed more engagement and conversions without all the headache of micromanaging every little detail. 😅

Do you think your business is too small to run Facebook ads? Well, I've got news for you. If you're beavering away on posts for your FB business page, they're going to be shown to less than 5% of your followers! 😟

And that's not going to get your name out there or reach a new audience! So, I'd say - can you actually afford NOT to run ads on Facebook??

You can run ads for less just $2 per day and see results BUT you do need to be STRATEGIC.

Are you boosting? Loads of advertisers are anti the BOOST button but I think it's a great place to get a taste of what Facebook Ads could do for your business.

A wise woman (Helena Day) just reminded me that you need visibility in your business. I tell my clients this ALL the time but I'm really bad at taking my own advice! So here I am.

It may seem I've been under a rock and not shown up at all recently. Truth is, I'm in the process of moving my business over to Singapore. Exciting times 😀

I'm going to post more AND be more visible. There. I've written it down and now have to do it!

Did you know over 98% of Facebook users access the site via mobile?

I have to remind myself of this all the time as I'm on my desktop working mostly. So..... when you're constructing your ads ALWAYS check it's going to work on mobile. ✨

My advice? Keep images square and 1080 x 1080 pixels and you'll do just fine across most placements and, if you need to, optimise for mobile above all else 👊

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳

Here's my view from isolation. We saw some fireworks way in the distance but it was a quiet one. Like many of us, I'm pretty happy to say goodbye to 2021. And after stepping back from work a little over the last couple of months, I'm now starting to plan the shape of my life and business in 2022.

You know that feeling that you need to shake things up in the new year?

Well after 2 years of pretty much going nowhere, we've only gone and moved to Singapore! 🥳

My husband got the job offer and thanks to me working virtually and the kids being up for it, well, here we are!

Currently, isolating, acclimatising and trying to sleep at the right time. Keep an eye out for updates 😀

Well yes you can! If you have all the time in the world and the ability to work through conflicting advice, you can absolutely get to grips with running Facebook Ads. Eventually...

But how much better (and smarter) to spend a few hours with someone who actually knows what they're talking about?

I've seen clients who've got into all kinds of bother trying to DIY it. And wasted $$$$ in the process! 😌

Some things you simply shouldn't shortcut. I've trained loads of small businesses to run their own ads. Properly.
