Insight Day with 🚀
Last week, we hosted 12 brilliant Making the Leap fellows as part of The BBD Perfect Storm Academy.

They got a proper look into life at BBD Perfect Storm, starting with an intro to the 3Ds that shape how we create our work. Then? A silly brief to put their serious knowledge to the test: make broccoli great again. 🥦 Safe to say, the creativity in the room did not disappoint. Thank you for bringing your energy, ideas, and ambition.

We also had our own Kian share his story with everyone. Less than a year ago, he was sitting exactly where they were. Now he’s been crowned Employee of the Quarter.

We’re over the moon to be welcoming some of these brilliant people back as interns very soon. 👀💥

Creativity isn’t about shouting the loudest. Sometimes, it’s about being the tiniest. The wee tiniest, in fact.

When the Wee Tiny Gallery pops up on your doorstep, you simply have to make the 5 minute pilgrimage to Brick Lane to check it out.

Installed by with design elements by , they’ve created something that punches far above its square footage. Small-scale work with serious (adorable) craft.

In an area full of things trying very hard to be memorable, it’s a reminder that scale has NOTHING to do with impact/surprise and delight.

Is that a we spy at the launch of the Labour Group for Men & Boys?

Our very own Fernando recently participated in the launch of the Labour Group for Men & Boys – a new initiative driving policy change across the UK.

The event brought together leading organisations including Equimundo, The dadshift, Hope Not Hate, Movember, and Beyond Equality – with endorsement from several MPs including UK Deputy PM, David Lammy.

Together they’re tackling critical issues, from improving the UK’s paternity leave policies (currently among the worst in Europe) to educational support and mental health. As Fer noted, “Supporting men isn’t about taking space from others; it’s about recognising that when men are healthier, more present, and better supported, the benefits are felt across families, workplaces, and society as a whole.”

It’s that time again! The ever-coveted BBD Perfect Storm Potluck Lunch was back with a bang last week as part of our April Office Warming. From superfood salads to delightful dips, banging braised beef and a whole array of sweet treats – our team brought the flavour to a sunny lunch.

Proof that great things happen when everyone brings something to the table.

It was a brilliant blend of culture, humour, and insight – showcasing how creativity can break the ice and bring people together.

What better way to tell the stories of Emerging Markets than to pass the mic to their talented artists?

Last week we helped our client bring together six talented emerging artists from across Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe for a vibrant collection at the Gemcorp office – providing these artists with a space to share their talents, stories and authentic perspectives.

At BBD Perfect Storm, we believe creativity thrives when it’s supported. That’s why we’re proud to facilitate this exhibition, helping to shape an initiative that celebrates art, storytelling and emerging talent.

We’re already putting our heads together to plan for the Emerging Artists Exhibition 4.0.
