Meet Jannah.

If there’s a complex shoot happening somewhere in the world, Jannah is usually already across it. From international projects for PETRONAS to work for brands like Google and Nokia, she’s the one keeping everything moving.

She’s involved at every stage. Calm under pressure, sharp on the detail, and very good at what she does.

A few moments from behind the scenes at @‌Hong Kong University.

Filming in busy, real working environments always brings its own challenges. Tight schedules, lots going on around us, and people who aren’t used to being on camera. That’s where experience really matters.

These are the in-between moments. Setting up, adjusting, and making sure everything’s ready before the camera rolls.

Back in October last year, we had a fun filled few days filming with the Petronas team in Malaysia and Mercedes F1 boss Toto Wolff in Brackley.

A lot of kit, some very calm people on camera, and the usual behind-the-scenes problem solving that never makes it into our final cut.

These shoots are always a good reminder that strong brand films come from trust. Clear objectives, good collaboration and letting experienced crews do what they do best.

And yes, the final image is our own fully committing to the moment and getting in on the fun. Proof that no one is safe once the cameras are out.

Some stills from our day at Silverstone shooting the new X F1 film.

The idea was simple. Bring real fans together and let them talk about why they love the sport. No scripts. No overthinking. Just proper conversation. As soon as they started chatting, the whole set shifted. You get a different kind of energy when people are sharing their own stories.

The fans were brilliant from the first minute. Open, honest and up for anything. You can see it in every frame.

Our team kept the day running smoothly so they could enjoy the experience and be themselves on camera. That is always the aim.

The team took a break from laptops this week to get the office ready for Christmas. Nothing fancy, just everyone pitching in, making paper chains, chatting, laughing and trying to work out how to hang things without bringing the ceiling down.

The place is now officially festive and we’re ready for the end of year sprint (but if more work comes our way we’ll find a way to squeeze that in too).

It’s World First Aid day today. We’re so proud to have played our own part in helping people to save lives.

The British Red Cross trusted us with producing 25 films for their new First Aid resources. Each film is about a different skill - whether that’s helping someone who’s choking, has stopped breathing, or has had a severe allergic reaction.

So often our good intentions can be stymied by a lack of confidence and knowledge. The Red Cross’s first aid resources - and each of these films - will be shown across the country for many years to help break down that barrier and - in no small way - help people to save lives.

The films can be found on YouTube - just search for British Red Cross first aid.

Very happy to be on the shortlist for not one but three prizes at the Brand Film Awards 2023 - including Production Company of the Year!
