Whether you are attending CIoF Convention or not... Whether you are a CIoF member or not... you are invited to an evening event just a few minutes walk from the Convention venue, all about life and a future as a consultant. It's organised jointly by the Association of Fundraising Consultants and EU Consult. Andrew Thomas, Founder of Prospecting for Gold, will kick off proceedings by sharing challenging thoughts: "Why are there so many consultants and do we make a difference to the total amount of money raised? Why do we waste time doing tasks that the client should do before we get involved? How can consultants improve? Where will we find the new philanthropists?" There'll be plenty of opportunity for you to share your views on the sector and the consultant's role, as well as network. The ticket price includes a first drink and nibbles.
