Recent client consultation.

My lovely client had already experienced a colour session many years ago but came to see me to review as she was unsure if the colours she currently wears are still perfect for her.

She also wanted some guidance regarding application.

Like so many women, she was unsure if she was applying her make up correctly plus she was worried that the products she uses in her cosmetic bag are right for her.

It was great to reassure her that her previous colour analysis was still absolutely relevant.

As a warm, soft palette she most definitely can still wear those beautiful colours, not only in clothing but in makeup, accessories, jewellery and when choosing hair colour.

With my step by step, guided she now has the knowledge of how to apply correctly along with my recommendations of products to purchase that were lacking.

My ‘Colour & Makeup’ 1-1 sessions really are an invaluable experience for all women, especially ladies of who really feel they have lost their style confidence.

WARDROBE AUDIT PART 3 CONTINUED…….👗👖👚

Following on, the next step is to remove all the items from the closet. Together, my client and I can clearly see the space left behind.

Luckily my lovely lady here has a king size bed to place them, which was helpful as she had quite a substantial pile!

One by one, we evaluated each item and ask some serious questions such as:

👚 Does this still fit?
👗 Does the colour work?
👚 Does it make me FEEL comfortable, stylish and flatter my body?
👗 Is the fabric synthetic and contributing to menopausal hot flushes? YES LADIES THAT IS A BIG THING!
👚 Does it contribute to full outfits within my wardrobe?
👗 Is it ripped, stained or need mending?
👚 Is it most definitely an item I want to keep or be rid of?

For many women, these can be big decisions so of course along the way I help to offer my recommendations and help them to gain clarity.

Thankfully my client was being very decisive as she really wanted to escape the overwhelm and regain a wardrobe that has been narrowed down with more structure and more space making it now so much easier to quickly grab a full outfit that will work for her on a daily basis.
