Still choosing you.
I’ve thought of running.
I’ve thought of leaving.
Not from hate — but from being human.
Restless. Dreaming. Searching.
But every time I drift, your laughter pulls me back.
That same laugh that made the world stop once — and still does.
You — beautiful in ways time can’t touch.
Grace that blooms even in silence.
A heart that forgives faster than I deserve. 🌹
Love, as they write it, is glossy.
Ours is not.
Ours is real.
It’s coffee arguments and quiet forgiveness.
It’s learning, unlearning, and choosing again — even on the days it hurts.
I’m not perfect.
But partnership taught me rhythm —
when to speak, when to listen,
and when to simply hold you until the storm passes.
Not because we promise perfection,
but because we promise persistence.
Thank you, my friend, my wife, my calm and my chaos —
for loving me through the noise,
for staying when leaving would’ve been easier,
for making the ordinary sacred.
