NEWS JUST IN:
Delan Rice scored his first 2 direct free kicks of his career, in all competitions, and as a result has been nominated and won the Ballon D'or...
UEFA President, Aleksander Ceferen when asked about his decision to make this unprecedented move, said:
"fant je dobro naredil.
PosluΕ‘ajte, vsak otrok, ki v svoji poklicni karieri nikoli ni zadel neposrednega prostega strela in izstreli dve absolutni raketi takole, mora "top bins" preprosto osvojiti nagrado."
In other news; off the back of Arsenal beating Real Mardrid at home by 3 goals, UEFA have decided to cancel the rest of the Tournament and award the trophy to Arsenal, as it'll save a time and money, helping to free up an already congested 2024/2025 season fixture list.
Arsenal TV Sensation 'TY' said after the match:
"I knew it, we're back baby, in fact, WE NEVER WENT AWAY!! Watching rice tonight made me want to go out and buy a bag of Tilda immediately, I mean, you've gotta support the lads interests outside of football and after a performance like that, I'll be eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a week!"
"But I'm gonna stay humble, until the open top bus parade, where I'm gonna wear my red Arsenal beenie, red Arsenal headphones, red Arsenal tracksuit and black loafers, as i don't want to overdo it, and you can't get into the Emporium in trainers"
Congrats to Arteta and the boys on their first ever non domestic trophy, well, unless you count the Emirates Cup, which Arsenal won by beating Lyon at home, with no other teams involved or matches played.
When questioned about that, Arteta said, "Our Emirates Cup wins every season are right up there with our 2 Community Shields."
The 2024/2025 season Champions League winners open top bus parade will take place in Woolwich on Saturday 20th April, which is when Arsenal were due to visit Portman Road to play Ipswich at 14:00, but as Arsenal and Ipswich have nothing left to play for this this term, both team managers have given their players some well deserved time off ahead of next seasons campaign, including the FIFA world Cup that Arsenal fans have started a petition for their inclusion, off the back of an historic domestic season.
