The .show Motherhood & DJing panel with Sarah Rushton-Read, DJ Emma, Fiona Hall, YDLR, Mini Da Minx, and DJ TBX — sharing the bad bits, best bits, and boat-load of collective wisdom. We’d say *hope* for the future of woman in DJing, but and , are already making good happen, (and we already know is doing the same, who was listed but couldn’t make the event).
We were there to listen and learn, and I personally believe cultivating a better future starts with new young talent such as sitting here in the first row, listening and learning. We’d like to see us all work together to create a new normal and having young people grow with this knowledge and awareness built in, is important. So this was good to see. But equally so, we’ve seen the work that and does, and Terry’s stance on socials, and obviously others. ‘s Eugene Bradley got a mention. This new normal doesn’t happen without better decisions being made at all levels of the music industry, and people taking a firm stance, and people supporting the likes of , , and
Let’s put the work in to see that happen.
