Some Instagram pages make me want to cry.
And before you think I am being dramatic, let me explain.
When I land on a page and the fonts are unreadable, the colours are all over the place, nothing is pulling me in and I cannot even tell what this female entrepreneur does or who she help..
I feel it… like physically feel it.
And it hurts to look at because I know how much this woman in business is working behind that page and her Instagram is doing absolutely nothing to get her clients.
This is what gets me the most.
When the business is usually brilliant, the service is real and the woman behind it clearly knows what she’s talking about...
but the page looks like a generic Etsy posts or just words (very small font) that you can barely read. (you really have to zoom in)
And that is exactly what a potential client thinks when they land on it too.
Your Instagram feed is not just decoration or to look preety.
Your Instagram page is about making someone feel connected when they find you.
Before reading a word, before watching a reel or even before thinking you’re worth following
One of my clients felt it herself.
She told me she was not inspired by her own posts and after her feed refresh she said it was a fabulous glow up that perfectly represented what she wanted for her business all along (and now she’s fully booked too).
That is what a feed refresh does.
It stops hiding your business and showing it off exactly the way you’re building it.
