15m x 8m Animation Projection 🎨 🌳 at the National Portrait Gallery
The Bobeam Tree Trail was created to support the launch of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s ‘Shaping Us’ Framework. We had the opportunity to animate Maggie Stephenson’s imaginative illustrations of the magical Bobeam Tree — which were displayed on a huge 15m x 8m projection wall at the in London.
The Bobeam Tree trail highlights the social and emotional skills that shape a happy, healthy life. Our animation was meant to help visitors imagine the Bobeam Tree springing to life, as it grows from a seedling into a tall and colourful tree. We used the projector wall at the National Portrait Gallery to make visitors feel as if they were entering the world of the Bobeam Tree.
Thank you to The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood ; to the team at Making Pictures Illustration ; and to Maggie Stephenson for the chance to work together on this unique and fun project.
