Early reviews are landing for An Ending, the sixth and final Lonely Robot album from John Mitchell. It's fair to say John leaves this project with the strongest chapter to date.

Six albums. One long journey through space, attachment and what it means to be human. This album closes the story.

An Ending is out on September 11th on CD and limited edition coloured double vinyl.

Mash Down Birmingham - the Early Recordings of Musical Youth is out today. BandButler was delighted to create the campaign for this release, for our client Needle Mythology. This album tells the true story of Musical Youth with exclusive, never-before-heard tracks straight from the archives of legendary reggae producer and impresario, Toney Owens. This album helps dispel the misguided myth that Musical Youth were merely a novelty act full of miming kids. Nothing could be further from the truth. This album proves that they were intrinsic to the development of Black British music.

BandButler is honoured to represent The David Longdon Foundation, set up in memory of musician David Longdon. The Foundation supports young musicians from deprived backgrounds through mentoring from music industry experts and the David Longdon Bursary. It also raises funds for Nordoff & Robbins, the UK's biggest music therapy organisation, bringing the healing power of music to those who need it most. We're proud to stand behind their work.

We're thrilled to welcome Edison's Children to the BandButler roster.

Edison's Children feature Pete Trewavas (Marillion), Rick Armstrong (son of First Man, Neil) and SFX specialist, Eric Blackwood. Today they announce their stunning new album, A Light In Ethereal Night, releasing 4th September. Progressive rock with genuine depth, real storytelling, and a sound that earns its ambition. We think you're going to love it.

If someone asks what your band sounds like and you hesitate, you have a problem. Fans decide fast. They look for clarity, not perfection. If your sound, looks and message don’t line up, people move on. This is not about selling out, it’s about being understood. Most bands are not ignored. They are unclear.

If that stings, you are not alone. We see this every week. If you would like help to define your band manifesto, get in touch.
