Last week I was invited to Meta’s Travel Summit in London where they shared what’s actually working in paid social right now - and honestly, it confirmed a lot of what I’ve been telling clients for months.
The headline? Creative diversity and volume aren’t nice-to-haves anymore. Meta’s data from 18,000+ campaigns shows that mixing up your creative (video + static, different hooks, polished + authentic content) gets you 7% better performance on both cost and conversions.
Their recommendation: minimum 5 assets per ad set. 20+ if you’re running automated campaigns.
Here’s the thing - I know “make more creative” sounds overwhelming when you’re already stretched thin. But this doesn’t mean you need a massive production budget or a full creative team. It means being strategic about what you’re testing and how you’re building your asset library.
There’s also heaps about attribution and automation, but we’ll leave that for another day…
If you’re running ads and wondering why performance has plateaued, or if you’re planning your 2025 strategy and want to actually implement this stuff (not just know about it), that’s exactly what I help brands do.
I work with companies, agencies, and founders to build creative frameworks that actually scale - no fluff, no buzzwords, just campaigns that honour the core principles of marketing, and surprise surprise…they work!
