A Duo Colour analysis for a mother and her daughter.

🎉 Is there anything better than sharing a very pleasant experience and a memorable lesson with your beloved daughter (or mother)?

Good taste and style may run in the family, but palettes don’t have to! 👩‍👧✨

🎨 From universal pewter to custom contrasts, see how different colours and different types of colour schemes work for this mother-daughter pair.

🧑🏻 For the daughter with rich, deep and contrasting features, dark and intense colours with bright pops of colours work very well.

👩‍🦳 On the contrary, « quiet » colours and tone on tone colour schemes make the most of the mother’s soft, muted and light features.

Every year, I am delighted to see several of you for these great Duo Reveal sessions in my studio.
Are you ready to try?

What was your favourite “costume” as a child? 🎭

Today is Mardi Gras. I must confess that for me, it’s always been about the beignets (I can still taste my grandmother’s homemade doughnuts, crunchy and sweet!).

But, many years ago, it was also the day I felt the freedom to “be” anyone.

As a child, I dressed as the women who inspired me:

🩰 The disciplined ballet teacher in her pink silk.

🥋 The strong judoka in her heavy white kimono.

🕵️‍♀️ The inquisitive detective in her beige trench coat.

🏔️ The nurturing governess in her earthy folk dresses.

I thought I could become them just by dressing like them.

Nearly 40 years later, as a “holistic” stylist, I’ve realized that childhood intuition was onto something profound.

Our daily “costume” is never neutral.

The clothes we choose are a bridge between our inner identity and our outward presence.

They signal our identity, our mood, and our intentions toward others.

As we move into a season of renewal, I’m curious :

Have you ever thought about what your daily “uniform” says about your mission? Does it help you step into the “hero” you are meant to be today?

Style isn’t about trends - it’s about intentionality. 🏛️✨

Every piece of art in the world is built from the same 6 fundamental elements of design.
And guess what? So are you.

When we stop trying to fit into “rules” and start looking at our bodies through the lens of an artist, everything clicks. We aren’t dressing to hide ; we are dressing to enhance and balance.

SWIPE to see how I break down the 6 elements of design for the human body :

📏 Line – The direction and energy of your frame.

📐 Shape – The 2D outline of your silhouette.

🏺 Form – The 3D volume and structure of your body.

🌌 Space – The relationship between the main aspects of your body according to proportions.

🧶 Texture – The tactile feel and aspect of your skin and hair.

🎨 Colour – The unique natural palette of your skin, hair and eyes.

Which of these elements is a challenge for you?

Does your presence speak as clearly as your ideas? ✨

When your wardrobe feels like “noise,” people spend more time trying to solve your appearance than listening to your words. It’s a distraction you don’t need.

As a visual artist and stylist, I look for Alignment over trends.

When you align your personal image with your identity, the friction disappears. You stop managing impressions and start being yourself and happy to be so.

The best gift you can give is one that lasts long after the decorations come down. ✨

One of my favorite parts of being a personal stylist is seeing the moment a client looks in the mirror and says, « Wow, I see myself as I feel deep down and as I have always wanted to look ».

That feeling of « finding yourself » again is what I pack into every gift voucher.

Whether it’s for a friend who has just started a new job, a mum-to-be, or a little treat for yourself after a busy year, a Reveal Colour & Style session is an investment in self-confidence.

🌿 What’s included:
• A deep dive into your unique colour palette.
• Understanding the harmony of your body shape.
• A roadmap for a « Natural Elegance » wardrobe.

My digital gift vouchers are available for those last-minute surprises! 💌

« Are you looking forward to Christmas? » 🕊️

While finishing my last errands, the lady at the cashier asked me this simple question.

A few weeks ago, seeing the bindi on her forehead, I’d asked her about her Diwali celebrations.

Recently, she asked me if I was looking forward to Christmas « like everyone else. »

Her straightforwardness caught me off guard, but I smiled and said, « Oh, yes! »
In the middle of the London rush—the ornate trees, the sparkling lights, the beautiful tablescapes—it’s easy to get lost in the « doing. »
As a stylist, I love the beauty of the season. But as a convert and practicing Catholic, my « yes » comes from the quiet and deep joy of the Nativity.

I love that Christmas has become a universal season of light, family, and generosity. It’s a beautiful thing to see the world pause for love.

But I’m curious... what do you love most about this time of year? And is there anything you find yourself wishing was different?

Wishing you all a Christmas filled with true peace of heart and a light that doesn’t fade when the decorations come down.
Merry Christmas! ✨
Thank you for the pic ❤️

Bonjour!

It’s been a little while since I introduced myself here. I’m Julia. 🕊️
I’m a Personal Stylist, but I like to think of myself as a “Translator.” I translate who you are - your values, your shape, your goals - into a wardrobe that makes you feel effortless.
A few things that define my work:
✨ My Grandma Influence: I grew up inspired by my grandmother’s natural, timeless elegance. Quality over quantity, always.
✨ Artistic Intuition: Before working with clothes and textiles, I used to work with clay. That sense of “harmony” from my ceramics studio now flows directly into my colour and shape consultations.
✨ Empowerment, not Rules: I don’t want to give you a list of “Don’ts.” I want to show you the “Dos” that make your skin glow and your confidence soar.

Whether you’re a young professional finding your feet or a mum navigating a changing body, I’m here to guide you toward your most radiant self.
Follow along for regular tips on finding your own natural elegance. I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

Lost in wardrobe?

As a Personal Stylist, I often have the privilege of stepping into these fascinating Wardrobe Labyrinths.
My discovery usually leads to the same conclusion: far too many clothes! What are the reasons behind that clutter?

1. Chasing Fashion Trends.
2. Instant Gratification Culture.
3. Fear of Missing Out.
4. Emotional Regulation.
5. Wait and See Strategy.
6. Identity Confusion.
7. Sentimental Value.
8. Lack of Signature Style.

Tell me, what are Your reasons?

Is there a Way out?
Yes there is!
How? Curating a wardrobe which perfectly works for you, always !

Is Colour Analysis just for one skin tone? No, no, no 🙅‍♀️
This is one of the most persistent myths I hear in my practice, and it is crucial to address it because every single human being on earth has an intrinsic, beautiful colour palette.
The beauty of the system is its universality. Swipe to see the diversity of palettes I’ve had the privilege of decoding.
Why The System Works For All: The Physics of Light.
My methodology is not based on ethnicity; it is based on the universal physics of light. We are simply decoding three things in your complexion (skin, hair and eyes):
- Hue (Temperature): Is your complexion’s undertone cooler (blue-based) or warmer (yellow-based)?
- Value (Depth): How light or deep is your overall complexion (hair, skin, eyes)?
- Chroma (Clarity/Saturation): How bright or muted is your natural colouring?
These three dimensions apply equally to everyone.
The incredible variety we see in the Black community, for instance, perfectly illustrates why a one-size-fits-all approach fails:
Some Black clients look stunning in the high-contrast, cool deep and clear palette - typically Winter colours - but others with similarly cool-toned features need to wear softer colours with a lower contrast.
Others, with warmer features, thrive in the rich, earthy and muted tones of Autumn but some will need to wear darker shades, others, lighter shades to make the most of their unique features.
Melanin content changes the result, but not the process. My job is to see the individual spectrum of beauty and provide the precise formula that makes your unique palette amplify your presence. A warmhearted thank you for the Lovely pictures of my dear Alois and me.
