Knightsbridge wasn’t just my neighborhood, it was my classroom.
When I moved to London to study at university, I didn’t just learn from lectures. I learned from my surroundings.
Every morning, I’d walk past some of the most iconic storefronts in the world, each one telling its own story, carefully crafted to attract a very specific kind of client.
Living in Knightsbridge meant luxury was never just a concept in a textbook. It was alive in the streets, in the way window displays were lit, how doormen greeted guests, and how every little detail whispered (or shouted) a brand’s values.
I found myself analysing everything, why one boutique had a queue outside while another stood empty, how scent marketing drew people in without them even realising, and how exclusivity was created not just by price tags, but by atmosphere.
Those years taught me something no lecture slide ever could: marketing isn’t about selling. It’s about creating an experience people want to be part of.
And now, it’s the same principle I bring into my work, helping brands not just get seen, but be remembered.
