💛 A change to our charity running team! 🏃‍♂️

Sadly, our CEO John Walgate is unable to take part in the Yorkshire Marathon Relay on 18 October 2026, due to an ongoing injury.

While we’re disappointed that John won’t be able to join the team on the day, we’re incredibly grateful to the wonderful Tim Pritchard, aka Clare Pritchard’s dad! – who has very kindly stepped up and agreed to take his place. 🙌

We’re delighted to have Tim on board and hugely appreciate him coming to the rescue at short notice!

The team will be running in aid of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, raising vital funds for the lifesaving work they do across our region. 🚁❤️

Good luck to the whole team – and John, we’ll expect you to be there in spirit (and on at the finish line with snacks! 😉).

🏃‍♀️ Race practice… with a side of cake! 🍰

Three of our Yorkshire Marathon Relay team headed to Market Rasen Racecourse last night for the 9–5 event hosted by Curly’s Athletes, another chance to get some race practice in with just ONE MONTH TO GO! 😱🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We had a fab evening, plenty of running, and even better… Clare smashed out a new PB! 🎉👏

And as far as we’re concerned, any event that finishes with medals AND cake is a very good event indeed! 🏅🍰😂

We’re getting closer to the big day and continuing to put the miles in as we raise money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. 🚁❤️

Clare has been quietly clocking up the miles on the treadmill and enjoyed her first outdoor race of the year at the Lincoln 10K. She's putting in the hard work behind the scenes and is well on track for the Yorkshire Marathon Relay this October.

Introducing Felix, our newest British Growers Partnership Scheme partner 🌱

We are delighted to welcome Felix, the UK's leading food rescue charity, to the British Growers Partnership Scheme.

Felix rescues surplus food that is perfectly good to eat but cannot be sold, working with farmers, growers, supermarkets, wholesalers, manufacturers and restaurants to ensure it reaches people rather than going to waste.

Last year Felix redistributed the equivalent of 148 million meals through a network supporting more than 8,000 community organisations across the UK, helping around 1.5 million people while tackling food waste. Almost half of the food that Felix redistributed was fresh fruit and vegetables.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting the fresh produce sector, reducing food waste and creating positive social and environmental impact. Together, we'll be raising awareness of the incredible work Felix does and strengthening connections between British growers and communities across the UK.

Last Saturday saw the British Growers team out in force at Doddington parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It’s not the nearest parkrun to us, but we think the pull of a good breakfast at Doddington Hall afterwards MAY have had something to do with it…! 😉☕🥐

There was another PB for Andy, while Lorna completed her first ever parkrun — well done both! 👏

Our training continues as we work towards the Yorkshire Marathon Relay on 18 October, when the British Growers team will be running to raise money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance 🚁

After an injury earlier this year, Rachel has been gradually rebuilding her running, taking on parkruns across Lincolnshire in her Air Ambulance T-shirt and receiving plenty of encouragement along the way. Every mile is another step towards the Yorkshire Marathon Relay!
