Today is a sad day at CFG Nationwide, after nearly 12 years (and with a very heavy heart), Verity Brain has made the decision to move on from CFG in her role as HR Manager.

Verity has enjoyed the challenges but a career opportunity has presented itself which she cannot let pass by.

“CFG has been a part of my life for much longer than I’ve been the HR Manager here. CFG was actually Court Farm Garage, I used to be picked up from school and then spend the afternoons helping mum in the office or sneaking out into the MOT workshop”.

When Judith and Bernard moved to the premises in Cinderford and formed CFG as we all know it today, Verity used to travel out to the Forest to help her parents in the office in-between lectures at University.

“As I got older I used to help to restock the shelves in the forecourt shop (helping myself to the odd penny sweet!) and greeting the customers as they came in to pay for their fuel”.

Verity will still be supporting the senior management team for the foreseeable future on HR and Health & Safety issues.

We wish you all the very best for the future, from us all here at CFG Nationwide.
