5 metres of DTF transfers spread across the workbench and a whole lot of sorting, prepping and planning before a single garment is pressed.

It's not the glamorous side of the job, but it's what turns a pile of blanks into quality custom clothing. 💪🔥

I always get nervous when when starting a new project… will it meet the clients expectations, will I finish before the deadline, I question a million things, but somethings I am certain of is … I give 110%, I embroider the with the most sustainable threads on the best quality garments, at the very best price I can and 💯 I always give you exactly what you want want 🥰 This one really hits the brief 👌

🧵 EMBROIDERY TOP TIPS 🧵

Today's tip is all about backing!

The right backing can make or break an embroidery design. If you're seeing puckering, distortion, or poor stitch quality, there's a good chance the backing isn't suited to the fabric.

✔️ Stretchy fabrics = Cut-away backing✔️ Stable fabrics = Tear-away backing✔️ Dense designs = More support needed

Remember, great embroidery starts before the first stitch is sewn!

Current status: Me vs the sewing machine... and the sewing machine is winning! 😅🧵

It’s a machine at the end of the day and sometimes Thread nests, tangled bobbins, mysterious jams... are just part of another glamorous day in the embroidery world! 🤦‍♀️

So instead of going on the most amazing day that I’ve been dreaming of for like 30 years … instead If anyone needs me, I'll be over here with my tool kit performing emergency surgery on a machine that has clearly decided it needs a day off! 😂
