🍻 TFLI Pub Quiz - Round Two! 🧠

Following the success of our first TFLI Pub Quiz, we returned to the C**k and Pheasant Inn in Bollington for round two, and this time, even more of the team joined us.

Attendance increased from 30 people at our first quiz to 45 this time around, making for an even more competitive and entertaining evening.

A huge thank you to Dan and Molly for hosting and keeping everyone thoroughly entertained throughout the night. 👏

Congratulations once again to our Account Management team, who successfully defended their title and made it two wins from two! 🏆 Clearly, the rest of us need to raise our game before the next one…

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant evening. It was another great reminder that some of the best moments as a company happen away from our desks.

🍦 Ice Cream 🍨

Last week, our Have Fun Committee decided to make the most of the last few weeks of summer and arranged for an ice cream truck to visit the TFLI office! 🍦☀️

Free ice creams for the entire team, in what has actually been a pretty fantastic British summer. What could possibly go wrong?

Naturally, almost the exact moment the truck arrived, the Manchester weather did its thing… 🌧️😂

Thankfully, a bit of rain wasn’t going to stop us.

A huge thank you to our Have Fun Committee for organising another brilliant treat for the team, and to everyone who braved the weather for an ice cream!

At TFLI, Have Fun is one of our core values, and little things like this are a great reminder that work should be somewhere you genuinely enjoy spending your time.

Next time, though, we might book an umbrella truck as well. ☔🍦

🏃‍➡️ Rounders ⚾

Our "Have Fun" value was in full swing this week as colleagues from across TFLI swapped their desks for the rounders pitch! ⚾🌞

Teams from right across the business came together for an afternoon of healthy competition, plenty of laughs, and (some very questionable) sporting ability.

A huge thank you to our Have Fun Committee for organising another brilliant event. Creating opportunities for people to connect outside of their day-to-day roles is a big part of what makes TFLI such a great place to work.

It's amazing what a bit of fresh air, teamwork and friendly competition can do.

Now... who's ready for the rematch? 😄

👟 Inflatable 5K 🏃‍♂️

A huge well done to everyone from Team TFLI who took part in the 5K Inflatable Obstacle Course in Knutsford on Saturday 18th July! 🎉

Not only did the team tackle the obstacles (with varying degrees of elegance!), but together they also raised an incredible £500 for our chosen charity, the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

A massive thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the team. It's fantastic to see so many people getting involved, raising money for a great cause, and having a brilliant day together.

We're incredibly proud of the team - here's to the next challenge! 💪

🍻 TFLI Pub Quiz 🍷

A great business is built on more than just hard work, it's built on great people and a culture that people genuinely enjoy being part of.

Last week we held our very first TFLI Pub Quiz, and what a brilliant night it turned out to be. 🍻🧠

A huge thank you to our resident quiz veteran and walking encyclopaedia, Scott Challiner, for hosting an incredibly entertaining evening (and keeping 30 highly competitive colleagues under control!).

Congratulations to our winners, Scott Gave Us The Answers, with Port Fail taking second place and the team with the longest name in quiz history somehow making it onto the podium in third! 🏆😂

The competition was fierce, the banter was relentless, and the evening was a great reminder that some of the best moments as a company happen away from the desks.

Massive thanks to everyone who came along and made our first pub quiz such a success. Judging by the feedback, this definitely won't be the last.

🕺📼 Throwback Thursday at TFLI! 📼🕺

At TFLI, one of our core values is simple: Have Fun.

Today, teams from across the business stepped back in time, dressing up to represent the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s as part of our latest Throwback Thursday challenge! ✌️🎸💿📱

As our business continues to grow, we believe it's important to create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Building a high performance culture doesn't mean everything has to be serious all the time. In fact, some of the best teams are the ones that know how to work hard, support each other, and have a laugh along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and fully embraced the spirit of the day. The effort (and some of the outfits!) were incredible. 😂

🐣🥚 TFLI Easter Egg Hunt 🥚🐣

Things got seriously competitive at Head Office this week… 👀

We turned the office into a full blown Easter egg hunt, with teams hunting down hidden eggs marked in their department colours 🎯

The mission?
Find your eggs ➡️ trade them in ➡️ upgrade to a premium egg 🍫🥚

Safe to say…
• Some teams went tactical 🧠
• Some went chaotic 🤪
• And some just followed whoever looked like they knew what they were doing 😅

Great to see the whole office getting involved, bringing the energy, and (unsurprisingly) a bit of healthy competition 💪

Small moments like this are what TFLI is all about - working hard, but making sure we enjoy it along the way 🙌
