The Sewing Machinists we are looking for will be able to produce a wide range and variety of products from clothing and fashion items to leather goods, soft furnishing and knitwear. They can work alone or as part of team, on one aspect of sewing the product or on various operations.

Day to day tasks include:

Organise and maintain of an efficient workstation
Operate specialist industrial sewing machines
Work with a variety of materials, threads and trimmings
Use given sewing production techniques and methods
We also have positions available for Blanket Stitch Machinists. If you have sewing experience on a Blanket Stitch machine please apply and mention in your cover letter that you have this experience.

A Hand Sewer is involved in the process of manufacturing textiles goods; working primarily on woven homeware products. They require specialist knowledge in hand sewing/techniques in order to reach their daily targets. They need to be resilient, practical, have good team working skills but also be able to work well independently.

Day to day tasks include:

- High quality sewing of required work.

- Organise and maintain an efficient workstation.

- Follow health and safety guidelines.

- Quality control of your own work.

- Working with your team to ensure daily targets are met.

Technical Cutters are responsible for cutting components from textile materials to produce sewn products. They work to given instructions and quality standards, using specialist-cutting equipment.

What would you do?

Technical Cutters will work with a wide range of materials to product a variety of products from clothing and fashion items to soft furnishings. They can work alone or as part of team. They supply the production floor with the components they need to make the product and perform a highly valued and fundamental part of manufacturing process.

Day to day tasks include:

Picking, spreading and cutting of materials
Lay planning to ensure efficient use of materials
Working with a variety of materials and specialist cutting equipment
Bundling and labelling cut components
