This week we’ve been very busy with not one but TWO brand new fuel tankers for BATA Ltd and also it was new graphics day for Audie from Dragonfly handyman and garden maintenance

Next week is our last few working days before our first ever annual shut down break… but!!!…..we’re not letting up and will be working very hard to get everyone what they need before we say goodbye for the summer break!!

Evening followers… sorry for the lapse in posts been a mental few weeks with the run up to our annual holiday shut down at 5pm 11th June for ten days. Seems many of you have needed us for events that you need clothing for or signage for new businesses opening in town like Lintons accountants with their fresh new window graphics, and some just having a paint up and refreshing their own business frontage like Willowgreen Estate Agents

Thanks to all our customers for their patience and to both businesses for supporting local and allowing us to have input and get them looking smart again for their future in town centre ♥️♥️

Another day in the land of Boolies and as these two little grafters come to the end of their week, I thought I’d go in and annoy them by videoing some content. We don’t feel the need to edit and polish our videos we’d rather you see it how it really is!! Well until Amber proceeded to swear obscenities at the laminator when it didn’t behave!! We did keep that out!

Shall we just say after the three musketeers have done more work than I could ever have imagined possible this week the pair of them deserve a break and a beer or two this weekend! Awesome team players they are just AWESOME 🙌

So Nick and I are so so pleased that our newbie Ethan Bolch is proper settling in now….now gaining some real confidence in our room and bossing out those orders with team mate Amber Richardson by his side for any assistance should he need it.

All our staff are trained in every dept these days so we can all help each other when needed.

Bryony is away this week, so Ethan’s running the Tajima machines to cover for her, to add to the mix our poor Andy is now out of action for a good 4 weeks due to keyhole knee surgery! GET WELL SOON ANDY!!!! We’ve ordered you a bell off amazon so you can demand cups of tea from the Mrs at will!!! Sorry Linda!!! So right now this week it’s just been us three musketeers keeping Boolies ship shape while Nick keeps Landy work on schedule.

Thanks to everyone this last few days for being so great with easing our work load it’s just a tad mental at the moment but as you can see here we’ve nothing to worry about as our little work family has you covered!!

PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT OPENING HOURS INFO:

Bigboolies will close this year for a one off annual holiday break closing the doors on Thursday 11th June at 5pm and reopening again 9am Tuesday the 23rd June.

The management and team have all agreed to take this opportunity to close up for ten days so that the company MDs and family can take time out for a special occasion holiday this year without the added stress of leaving the business on too low levels of staff - so the team have all booked their summer holidays at the same time so we can close the doors and all take a well deserved break from work to enjoy some quality quiet family time out.

We hope you all understand that running a family owned and managed business is very hard sometimes and especially so when it comes to the whole family wanting to take an uninterrupted holiday together, so as you can imagine the closure was not an easy decision for us all to make.

We are very honoured to have such a hard working work family whom have agreed to do this for our family and hope this does not cause our customers too much of an inconvenience just this once!

We can now reveal the new 2026 livery for Ryedale Bodyworks Limited that we’ve been working on at the beginning of last week. All designed supplied and installed right here, using as always Hexis UK Ltd materials.

Digitally printed wrap, laminated in Matt, profile cut allowing sections of the silver bodywork to shine through to give more depth and texture to the design.
