If you're running Google Ads, these quick fixes can cut wasted spend and improve your results instantly:

1️⃣ Fix Your Location Targeting

By default, Google targets “Presence or Interest”, meaning people outside your location can see your ads if they’ve shown interest. This wastes budget on irrelevant traffic.

👉 Fix it:

Go to Campaign Settings → Locations
Change from “Presence or Interest” to “Presence”
Click Save
Now, your ads will only show to users physically in your target area.

2️⃣ Turn Off Display Expansion on Search Ads

If you see the magnifying glass icon with a box, Google is running your search ads on random websites, not just Google Search. This lowers quality and burns budget.

👉 Fix it:

Go to Campaign Settings → Networks
Untick the Display Network
Click Save
Now, your ads only appear in search results, where intent is higher.

3️⃣ Add a Target ROAS or CPA to Performance Max Campaigns
