Yesterday we attended an in-house showcase game with and some college coaches from the NCAA D1, D2 & D3 ⚽️🇺🇸

Here is what the college coaches said you must include in your emails ⬆️⬆️

They receive hundreds and sometimes thousands of emails from players all looking for a scholarship so they don’t have time to read through everything, but there are a few things that are a MUST!

They also said to be persistent and keep emailing coaches with relevant and valuable information such as; updated video footage, updated and improved GPA, game/tournament schedule.

With Presidents’ Day weekend here, there are a lot of showcase tournaments taking place in the USA where hundreds of coaches will be in attendance looking for players to recruit for different recruitment classes! 🇺🇸

The more you can do to stand up from the rest and the easier you can make the coaches process of getting all of your relevant information, the better! ✅✅✅

has been on absolute 🔥 this season with and deservedly had his first call up to the first team squad! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏

Many of the pundits praise his ability on the ball. His touch is special and the speed he can carry the ball allows him to breeze past defenders with ease.

Recently Emile spoke about his progression and explained that his ability on the ball is something he has had from a very young age and he actually puts his recent progression into the role of Arsenal’s main man down to something else……

His diet! 🍱

With a bad diet he use to lose energy and intensity towards the end of games meaning he couldn’t maintain the impact he could have on the ball throughout the full 90 minutes. With a much improved diet he can now influence the game and be dangerous throughout 🙌⚽️

Maintaining good diet and being careful what you consume before you play is vital throughout any athletes career, even at a young age! You can give yourself a big advantage on and off the field by having a positive change to your nutrition.

BIG TIP- stay away from fatty foods before you play as it slows down digestion, not giving you the right energy you need for the game ⛔️

The story of Laurence Wyke

Laurence is a great example to young players who have either been released from an academy or have never been given that chance at a higher level!

Laurence was released from Manchester United’s academy at 16 years old. After trialing at Bury and Rochdale and being unsuccessful, Laurence attended Repton School where he carried on his football whilst studying! He then decided heading over to the USA to play college soccer was the right thing for him 🇺🇸⚽️

Laurence attended NCAA D3 college in Texas where he impressed for 2 years before earning himself a transfer to NCAA D1 side in South Carolina. The success story doesn’t end there….

During his 2 year spell at Furman, Laurence once again stood out in the division and started to attract the attention of professional clubs. After graduating he signed his first professional deal with USL side Atlanta United 2. He played 29 out 35 games and earned himself a call up to the first team playing in the MLS 🙌✍️

Laurence is now playing with in Florida.

A great journey so far and a story of persistence and belief! Good luck to Laurence for the rest of his career 🤝
