A few weeks ago, we treated ourselves to a night out.

“Ooooooh” I hear you say…

Well it wasn’t to celebrate anything in particular, but honestly was just a delightful opportunity to acknowledge our hard work after what has been a very busy year so far.

Sana ended up being the dart superstar of the evening (even though she’s never played it before 🥲) and we all enjoyed some delicious food and cocktails.

Even though we’re a small team, we’ve created an environment where we can rely on each other with 100% trust - while also knowing that we’ll always have a good time together, both in and out of the office!

A small team leaves no room for complacency, but plenty for growth. 😊

A few weeks ago, we treated ourselves to a night out.

“Ooooooh” I hear you say…

Well it wasn’t to celebrate anything in particular, but honestly was just a delightful opportunity to acknowledge our hard work after what has been a very busy year so far.

Class of 2023 🎓

Just over a month ago, our Co-Founders Tahlia Cave and Jordan Price graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University where they both completed their MSc degrees.

Tahlia graduated with a distinction in her Creative Advertising course, and Jordan also graduated with a distinction in her Digital Marketing Comms course, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Small City Marketing was formed after Tahlia and Jordan met on a live client brief module, and after a short period of time working in different jobs after uni, they decided that they wanted to pave a way for more creative opportunity and a chance to create a company culture which brings the digital marketing community together and shares the values which they believe should be standard across the industry.

We’d like to celebrate their achievements and celebrate many more milestones ahead! 🥂

A few months ago, our co-founder Jordan was commissioned to work with - a multi-award winning promoting accessible, equitable, and sustainable . She developed a communications and to help them maximise their message about the great work they were involved with.

It was a pleasure to directly work alongside the Managing Director Charles Critchell whilst both putting the strategy together and then implementing the recommendations following this.

Fare City had a profound impact on their community and sector;
- Winning 2 awards from ’s Active Travel Academy
- Completing 2 research projects including the response of 7 global cities to the pandemic and a project around cargo bikes for the London mayoral elections
- 3 collaborations supporting the campaigning work of charities and and a partnership with west London secondary school Northolt High
- Mentoring 2 young journalists as part of their 'Young Professionals Programme'

It was an incredible project to work on and Small City look forward to supporting more non-profit organisations with their marketing efforts.

We were invited to talk in Disruptive Live's new series 🎙

They are running a campaign called 'Seasons' where they invite experts within the tech industry to speak about a hot topic of their choice. We were extremely grateful for this opportunity to go to London to talk about something which we are extremely passionate about. We discussed all things to do with traditional targeting methods, the benefits of AI targeting audiences and ethics.

A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to be invited to work for on their 'A Million Veteran Dreams' event campaign.

To help the organisation sell out their top-tent, Greatest Showman-themed event, we worked on their social media campaign, helping them create branded content to promote the event, and helping their grow their accounts and brand recognition. We also helped with their digital PR where we received mentions from the likes of (british actor), (presenter for Hits Radio) and more, and sent out a branded email newsletter to remind people to donate!

The event was a sell-out success which ended up raising almost £18k! We're thrilled to have been part of their journey 🚀
