Her actual birthday was in May

The party happened, but honestly... it wasn't the one she deserved

Life was chaotic, too many things at once, split family didn't help

So when she asked for a do-over - we did it

Nothing fancy

Family at home, then the playground

She was completely in her element

And somewhere between bike ramp, the cake and her beautiful outfit I stopped feeling like the mum who dropped the ball on her six-year-old's birthday ๐Ÿ˜…
