New brand identity for Daisy Hogg - Northwest-based food stylist, Home Economist and Recipe Developer.

Daisy came to me wanting a Brand Identity with real personality - something that felt as considered and craft-led as her work, and stood apart from the clean, minimal look that dominates the food industry.

The logotype does a lot of the heavy lifting here. Those smooth, indulgent curves feel tactile and a little luxurious - perfect for someone who creates art with food. Used alongside hand-drawn illustrations, it gives the brand a personal, friendly feel that adds real personality.

The colour palette - Aubergine, Lavender, Kale, Peach, Flour and Lemon was chosen specifically to complement food photography rather than compete with it. The illustration suite became the basis for the repeat pattern, adding flexibility and personality across a range of touchpoints.

I always show examples of how a brand will look on various mockups so clients get a real feel for how it'll actually work in the real world. The Brand Identity presentation covers the strategy recap, the mood board signed off before any design work began, the thinking behind each design decision, and mockups showing how the brand lives in the real world.

If you're ready to invest in a Brand Identity that's built on strategy, not guesswork, drop me a message and let's chat.

⚡3 things I changed last week that have nothing to do with client work (but made me way more productive)

1️⃣ Choosing my clothes for the week 👖
I exercise most mornings and I’d got into a bad habit of staying in my gym kit and heading straight to my laptop.

Feeling scruffy all day made me feel bad about myself and didn’t distinguish ‘work mode’.

Now I pick out 5 outfits on Sunday night. One decision, once a week. Such a small thing but I actually feel ready for the day now!

2️⃣ Meal prepped my breakfast & lunches 🥗
Cooking eats into your day! I wanted to reduce the decision fatigue and just have it there ready to heat up in the microwave.

I picked easy things to cook that were healthy and would keep me going.
The raspberry & white chocolate baked oats with greek yoghurt is nearly 60g of protein! Which keeps me full until lunchtime. Lunch in the pic is chicken, roasted butternut squash and broccoli.

3️⃣ Set up Padlock to block apps 7am-3pm Mon-Fri. 🔒
This has been a game changer for me! Social media is so distracting and it’s really easy to ‘ignore’ your time limits. With Padlock the decision is made for me. I can’t check even if I want to.

🔋The difference? I’m at my desk dressed properly, fed and focused.

Turns out the secret to being more productive isn’t working harder - it’s making fewer decisions before you even start.

HNY! I hope you all had a lovely break 🥰

💥 IMPERFECT ACTION 💥 My word of the year.

I learnt this from Emma at last year when I did Commit to 6. I realised that I could apply this to any aspect in my life, not just health and fitness. ANY action is better than none, right?

I feel like I did a lot of 'cruising' in 2025 (I wasn't in the right frame of mind) but I feel ready to push myself a bit more this year. Step out of my comfort zone, try things, be a beginner, fail at things, try again, get better, and not give up.

A few things I'm working towards:

✅ More connection - Online and in person. Posting more on socials without getting caught up in the comparison trap and writing more emails.

✅ Doing more Brand Identity design – Learning, being curious and implementing new processes that benefit my clients and make the whole process smoother.

✅ Continuing my health and fitness journey – lifting, running, maybe some races

✅ Done is better than perfect. I've stopped myself doing things because 'it wasn't the right time' or I haven't felt ready and overthought every aspect so that I'd talk myself out of whatever it was I initially wanted to do. I feel quite open to failing now. You live and learn, everything is a lesson so bring it on!

Do you have a word or goals for 2026? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear them.

An unused concept for a PT who has started a new fitness class. STRENGTH BUILDS CONFIDENCE is all about building strength which in turn makes you feel better, gives you a boost and improves confidence.

The foundation of this idea is building blocks. The different coloured blocks stand for balance, strength, effort, and purpose. Together, these components provide you with the necessary measures to move forward and start to build strength. Bring on the gains!

I used some motivation quotes as inspiration to encourage people to join. Making the first step can often be the hardest but exercise can bring so much more to your life. I really wanted to inject some energy into this by using bright, powerful colours.

New brand identity for

The big vision for Intuitive Homes is to marry technology into the fabric of luxury homes. Create exciting, intuitive and effortless experiences for homeowners.

The target market is luxury home owners, high end developers, designers and architects. The team at Intuitive Homes are friendly and approachable so the look and feel of the band needed to be premium, simple and portray a minimal 'fuss free' vibe.

We achieved this by using a modern, san serif font in lowercase to provide a confident, friendly feel. The typography has some lovely custom elements that compliment the brand and make up the brand mark. The sliced 'i' and 'h' make a house shaped icon whilst also signifying the cutting edge tech that's used.

After looking into some of the competitors there seemed to be some common traits, typically using dark imagery and colours, so we wanted to move away from that and create a softer palette that speaks to a wider audience and really compliment the photography of these beautiful homes.

I loved working on this project so If you're seeking a brand identity that exudes confidence in 2024, I'd love to work with you. Please reach out and we can have a chat.

Love this time of year! Gorgeous colours everywhere 🍂🍁🎃

I'm enjoying cosy nights at home but I'm not enjoying the dark mornings and evenings 🌑 It makes it harder to get out for a walk or run which always makes me feel better.

I am enjoying working on my brand at the moment with the fab and a great bunch of people. I'm hoping to have everything figured out by the end of the year so I can start 2024 with a bang💥

I'm fully booked until the end of the year now so I won't be taking on any new clients until January. If you are interested in working with me, drop me a message and we can have a chat.

Happy Friday!

Eek... It's been a while since I shared some work.

I was lucky enough to work on the new identity of a production company set up by LDM and Simon Rimmer (yes, THE Simon Rimmer! 😱)

Backyard is a brand that focuses on the uniqueness of each production and emphasises a more organic, down-to-earth feel. This was reflected in each letter being slightly different with no hard lines or rigid edges.

Sharing an unchosen option from a branding project I worked on earlier in the year. I really love the flow of this, although it does make your eyes go funny if you stare at it too long! 😂😵‍💫

Most expensive passion project EVER 😂

This time last year we embarked on an extension, something that started with me wanting a cupboard to put the hoover in and very quickly escalated!

I think I may be going through a mid-life crisis 😅 because these colours were a bold move for me! I'm not usually a risk-taker with big decisions but I wanted a fun, modern space that would tie in my love for mid-century furniture and clean modern lines. I think we pulled it off and I couldn't be happier! 😍
