It’s certainly not been the easiest year, but I’ve definitely been the best version of myself so far 🤍

Complete with 4 trips, starting my own business and working with some amazing brands, lots of food, making new friends & connections, plenty of personal growth, and meeting the best person ❤️

I’ve definitely made mistakes this year and learnt a hell of a lot about owning a business & also about myself ☺️

Proud business owner post incoming 🥰

It's been a while but I'm officially back! Here's where I've been...

If someone had told me back in February when I started my business, that in October I would be onboarding 3 clients- I wouldn't have believed it 😍

It's been a tough month but I'm so thankful for all of them and excited to continue growing 🥳

I can't believe that within 8 months I've gained almost 4K followers, more than tripled my income & have already started outsourcing work to other freelancers (the best 🤍 .digital .brookbanks)

Unfortunately, it meant that my own page had to have a bit of a break! But this just shows that you can most definitely take a break- my followers didn't go anywhere!
So, feeling guilty for taking breaks is BS 😂 and it won't damage your account (my break was a whole month and it wasn't planned at all)

I'm so excited to be back posting all my social media tips, tricks & advice!
And stay connected with you all 🥰

Reels play bonuses are here 🎉

What is it? ⬇️
Instagram are now testing by invite only in the US, reels play bonuses which allows creators to start earning money directly from the reels they post.

What this means? ⬇️
In 2022, creators can start to use Instagram reels as a source of income & incentive to push towards a greater social presence online 🤩
In simple terms- you can do what you love for your followers & begin to get paid for your results!! 💸

Also, it was added that Facebook will soon be using reels too which I’m so excited for!!! Will definitely make life easier 👏🏻

What makes Instagram Reels a MUST DO? ✅
…Reach results ✨

I’ve noticed that reach is better for reels than static posts & a lot of the time your reach extends to mostly people who don’t follow you 😍

This is great for brand awareness for your business!

Instagram have announced that reels WILL be coming to Facebook 🤩 we just don’t know when yet!

3 FREE must-have apps for creating content for Instagram! 🤩

Canva ⬇️
Every social media managers' best friend! You can use Canva for free but I would recommend getting a pro account for just £10.99 each month. I use Canva to create social media content, remove backgrounds on photos, create proposals, shared documents like timesheets, create content calendars, social media reports & invoices.
There is so much you can do on here & it is so helpful for businesses who want consistent branding throughout!

Lightroom ⬇️
A great photo editor, I particularly love this app for applying presets to photos. If you pride yourself on having an "Instagrammable", aesthetic feed, you'll become obsessed with this app!

Preview ⬇️
A great tool when planning content. Preview allows you to see what your grid will look like before you post. I love seeing everything laid out before me first to make sure I'm happy with everything.
