We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As our Credit Controller, you’ll be a key player in managing our Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining a healthy cash flow. This is more than just a numbers role – you’ll be building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to the financial health of an innovative company.
What You’ll Do
• Take charge of the credit control process:
Issue invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain accurate records of customer accounts.
• Build strong client relationships:
Resolve payment discrepancies, negotiate payment plans, and promote timely compliance.
• Collaborate and innovate:
Work closely with our Accounts team to ensure seamless billing and payment processing.
• Leverage technology:
Use accounting software to track payments, generate reports, and keep financial records up-to-date.
• Report regularly:
Prepare detailed reports on outstanding debts and present actionable insights to management.
What You’ll Bring
• Experience:
Proven track record in Credit Control or a finance-related role.
Attention to detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and record management.
• Communication skills:
Strong phone etiquette and written communication to interact effectively with clients.
• Technical know-how:
Proficiency in Accounting software (experience with SAGE is a plus).
•Analytical mindset:
Ability to assess financial information and make informed decisions.
• Proactivity:
A problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of finance:
Familiarity with financial services or credit management is a bonus.
