Some YouTube advisors tell brands not to run promotions.

With respect, that misses the bigger picture.

Running promotions on YouTube is not about buying views or subscribers.

It is about distributing your content to your ICP and generating data that most marketers do not even know exists.

Here is what is actually happening behind those views:

If you have the right tools, you can identify companies visiting your website after engaging with your videos at company level.
