It's Tuesday, which in honour of my book turning one year old, means it's Child's Play Tuesday. As teased when I started this 'campaign' last week, this means that you get a chapter of my book to read. You lucky thing. I hope it brings you the hope, humour, and escapism you might need today.

After toying with ‘Spreadsh*ts’ as an alternative title, my third (more commercially acceptable) choice was ‘Birth Plans and Business Plans’.

More creative ways of saying “I’m just circling back…” at the start of awkward meetings and passive aggressive emails:

🟣 "I’m just squaring up..." (because you’ve got me pretty narked by this point)

⚫️ "I’m just triangling forward..." (because I fail to see the sodding point of any of this)

⚪️ "I’m just dodecahedroning sideways..." (because this is a multi-faceted f**k-up and I need to remove myself from this farce with immediate dramatic effect)

Christ! It's next week!

Yep, May is next week, and that's when my next run of 'Creative Copywriting with Jo' starts.

When? The first four Thursday mornings in May, 9.30 - 10.30.

Where? Over Zoom. Bring a drink, bring a pet, bring a snazzy hat.*

Who? You, me, and 7 other good people wanting to love learning all about how to be more creative with language, to maximise its impact, and to help you articulate the living s**z out of your spoken and written communication.

Well, in truth, at this point it's you, me, and *5* other people - because I have been a bit of a Slack Alice in telling people about this run, and so there are still spaces left. How is it nearly May, FFS?
