Hold the phone…. My local Lidl has an actual pub in it called the Middle Ale!? 🍺 🤣

I’ve just moved to Northern Ireland, and down the road from me is The Middle Ale, Lidl’s first ever pub.

Of course I had to look into it..

Lidl didn’t set out to open a pub. They wanted to sell alcohol in their Dundonald store and NI’s licensing laws said no.

So they had to get creative. They argued the town actually needed a pub, went all the way to the High Court… and won.

The lesson I’ll be stealing for my clients: constraints don’t kill creativity, they cause it.

Some of the best marketing happens because of the rules, not despite them.

Anyway. Anyone fancy a pint and a loaf of bread? 🛒🥖🥐🤣

Care has always been personal to me.

Before The Circle Marketing existed, I spent years inside the care sector, as a Marketing Manager for Millennium Care UK Group, sitting in the homes, talking to the residents and the teams, seeing first-hand the difference good care makes to families on their hardest days.

And when I was a child, my parents were Managers of a care home, so I often spent evenings/ weekends and special occasions within the home surrounded by caring residents; it was like having 30 grandparents! 🥲

When I started The Circle Marketing three years ago, it didn't take long to find my way back.

Marketing care isn't like marketing anything else. It's not about selling; it's massively about trust!

It's about helping families feel confident in one of the biggest decisions they'll ever make, so if they can see the genuine care you give before picking up the phone, you're halfway there.

17 years in marketing. A lifetime around care. That's why The Circle Marketing exists.

My Rebrand is here! 🙌🏼

When I set up The Circle Marketing almost three years ago, I had no idea where it would lead.

I offered my services to everyone and hoped for the best and within a few months, I found myself drawn to the industry closest to my heart: care. It's where my experience lives, and where I know I can make the biggest difference, helping providers tell the story of the care they give. 💙

For the past year, though, my branding hasn't matched the real feel of my business.

So for the last few months I've been working on something with my talented Graphic Designer... I'm excited to share, not just a rebrand, but a whole new structure. The Circle now works across three areas:

→ The Care Circle Marketing: The heart of what I do. Everything I've learned in care, put to work for care groups and home-care providers. Heart-led marketing that helps families choose you, helps great carers find you, and gives the care you already provide the recognition it deserves.

→ The Circle Marketing: With the team I've built, still working with businesses we believe in and can genuinely help grow (a huge thank you to my clients who bring the fun like Just For Friends.🐶

→ The Circle Websites: Beautiful, well looked-after websites, built and managed on a small monthly subscription, so you never have to worry about the technical side again.

Studio 96 has always been about more than dance. It’s about building confidence, creating opportunities and being part of a supportive, welcoming community. From where we started to where we are now, it’s been an incredible journey and this new website really reflects who we are today, we will post updates and news on our new site so keep an eye out. 👀

I’ve been a little quiet on here recently! 📸

The past couple of months have been full in the best possible way! 🤗

I’ve been out meeting clients, booking studio time, filming on location and building another side to my services, I've hired an incredibly talented Graphic Designer/ Photographer! 📸🎥

Last week we spent the day with Home Instead Salford & Worsley capturing stories, and behind-the-scenes of the incredible work they do every day!

We met Dorothy and Ernest, who have been married for 67 years, loved sitting with them, chatting and capturing their story, it was just amazing.

We’re currently offering some great rates on content days while we continue building out that side of the portfolio, so if you’re a care home or organisation looking to show what you do in a more natural and meaningful way, I’d love to chat. 🩵 🎥
