MAINWARING ARMS RUM AND MUSIC 2026

Another year, another great weekend spent at The Mainwaring Arms as we hosted our annual Rum and Music Festival!

The weather held as I ran the cocktail bar outside, featuring rum classics supported by Bounty Rum, Wray & Nephew UK, Double Dutch Drinks, Black Dragon Rum and our own Mainwaring Arms spiced rum.
The evening before was a ‘meet the maker’ style as we highlighted myself as owner of Manchester Rum Festival as I opened a bottle each of my Planteray Rum 10th anniversary bottling’s as well as the new Manchester Rum from The Spirit of Manchester Distillery to offer customers in the pub a tot or three 🫡

PRIDE AT PALM x CARIB

Mid-August saw an opportunity to support Pride at Palm after Kian gave me a shout to showcase his idea for Palm Cocktail Bar & Eatery.

As you can see, pink and reds are the colours of Palm so an introduction to Carib Beer Sorrel Shandy just made sense!

Bright red hibiscus flavours works perfect as a cocktail lengthener, so the team at Palm came up with the event headliner ‘Love Wins’ that saw Havana Club mixed with strawberry syrup and lime juice, all topped with Carib Sorrel Shandy! 🌺

Couple that with Carib Lager bottles available as per usual at Palm and you had yourself a Saturday to remember 😎

What a lot of foamer!

The Manchester Foam(er) Party has concluded, with a showcase of 8 bars across the city and their use of Ms.Betters Bitters Miraculous Foamer in some of their signature cocktail serves.

From twists on classics, innovative draught ideas and engaging drinks, a big thank you to everyone who got involved in my project!
