High traffic, low conversion = something’s off with trust, offer, or the site itself.

Low traffic, high conversion = product’s solid, you just don’t have enough scale behind it.

Most brands try and fix CRO or “get more traffic” in isolation. That’s where things go wrong. You’ve got to look at both together because that’s what actually tells you if it’s a traffic issue, a positioning issue, or you’ve hit a scaling ceiling.

Fix the wrong one and you’re just moving the problem around.

Prime Day is next month and if you think it doesn’t impact your ecom bizniz think again.

If you’re not selling on Amazon, it’s tempting to just ignore it. Every year, I see non Amazon brands quietly benefit or get drowned out, depending on how they play it.

A few quick things I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way):

- Your ads will compete with Amazon’s noise, expect higher CPMs

- Shoppers are in buying mode, even if they don’t buy from you that day, they’re clicking, browsing, and primed to spend

- Not doing a full on sale? Fine, but it’s still a great time to:
 – Launch a bundle
 – Push your bestsellers
 – Get aggressive with retargeting

You don’t need fireworks, but ignoring Prime Day altogether is a wrong move because even small nudge in the right direction can capture the overflow.
