When Nichola and I first started running our own business, I remember thinking this corporate world just is not for me.

We have been through some very hard times. At one point during Covid, we nearly lost everything. We have had to fight battles we never expected, including with people who pretended to be friends while trying to pull us down behind the scenes.

Business can be tough. Really tough.

But when you find your people, truly find them, it changes everything. Even when things feel hard, it still feels worth it. It feels like support. It feels like belonging. It feels like having people around you who genuinely want to see you do well.

I have been lucky enough to find those people, and this is just one example of what can happen when good people come together, root for one another, and choose to collaborate to make life better for others 💛

Yesterday’s 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 meeting at Spinners Mill brought together another brilliant room of local businesses.

We welcomed plenty of new faces, saw some familiar ones, and as always the conversations got flowing quickly. Connections were made, ideas were shared, and there was a real energy in the room from start to finish.

It is always great to see the community growing and new people feeling part of it straight away.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a positive morning.

Our good friends over at Metro Rod Lancashire are doing a 'Walk of Hope' in aid of EPiC HOPE CIC.

There is still a little bit of time left to sign up for the walk too! So get your walking boots on!

We honestly did not expect that many of you this morning… especially with it being half term 👀

We just about had enough chairs, which is always a good sign. A fantastic turnout, a brilliant buzz in the room, and so many great conversations happening before we’d even had chance to grab a brew.

We’d love to think you all came because you couldn’t wait to see us… but we suspect a few of you may have been tactically “working from the café” and hiding from the kids 😅

A special mention to our mini networkers too. They were absolute pros. Future CEOs in the making and impeccably behaved.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it another brilliant morning. The Launch North West community never disappoints.
