‘Post everyday’ 👎
If you’ve run out of content and end up posting for the sake of it just to get “something out” you’ll end up doing more harm than good. People see through it and will end up unfollowing you & engagement will drop.
Aim for at least 3 pieces of well thought out, high quality content each week and you’ll see growth 📈

Bullsh*t. There is no specific time the algorithm suddenly works best. You should be aiming to post at the time your followers at most active (which is just common sense).
…But we truly believe if it’s a good piece of content, it will blow up no matter the time 🙌
‘Copy what’s trending’ 👍
Might be controversial, but you should be researching what’s trending and performing well. Putting your own spin on something that’s trending (whether that’s an idea or audio) is one of the quickest ways to grow your account.
Of course, you need original content too - but trends are trends because people are talking about them and engaging!

There’s no doubt about it. In 2026 founder-led content is performing so well. People don’t just want brand colours and logos, they want storytelling, emotion and realness.
It’s really not as scary as you think once you start it.
‘Your grid needs to be perfect’
…So 2024 😴 We’re not saying grid cohesion isn’t important, but there’s a difference between cohesion and a strict grid pattern. People don’t want perfect, they want real.
Plus you can re-order your grid now anyway, so just post what you want and re-order it later 🤪
