We’ve added frames today to quite possibly one of the coolest places in Manchester Mars Tapes
Located on the 1st floor of Afflecks, Mars Tapes is a must-visit for any audiophile. Believe it or not, it’s the last shop of its kind in the uk, operating since 2019 and stocking an eclectic mix of old classics alongside the latest releases from independent labels.
And it’s more than just cassettes too! Now based in a cosy café space, they serve hot drinks, soft drinks, and popcorn while also offering a varied selection of analogue gear, from boomboxes to walkmans. They even provide services like cassette player cleaning, making it a true haven for tape lovers!
